Question: Best Workout style?

I am 19 and in good health I am pretty physically fit. I can do lots of push ups , pull ups and sit ups. I rock climb and hike all the time with no problem. I would like to build up my muscles more so I can be even better at my stuff. I essentially want to get bigger and more fit everywhere. Is it better for me to workout everything each time I go to the gym or work out certain muscle groups such as arms or legs as a focus each time I go. Which will build up muscles?
