Dias, I would possibly have missed the point of your post, but it seems to me that you are trying to help your colleagues by explaining to them the benefits of healthy living, but despairing when they don’t listen. If this isn’t what you meant then feel free to eSlap me next time you log on. But if that was what you meant, here’s my two cents…
Yes, some people are always going to be fat and lazy, and yes, some people will care more about getting hammered after work than going to the gym. But badgering people isn’t going to solve the problem. You might just be trying to help but it sounds to them like you’re lecturing them. The sad truth is some people just won’t change. The only thing you can do is support and encourage the ones who do want to get healthy, and hope that your example will encourage others to do the same. If you spend all your time worrying about other people’s health, the stress will put you in an early grave!
Again, if this wasn’t what you meant then sorry for completely missing the purpose. I do it a loi!
