Simple Qigong Exercise to Create Energy

Here is simple Qigong exercise that can be done in the morning to start your day, at lunch to keep your energy topped off for a busy afternoon or at the end of the workday to carry you into the evening.

This will be done for the 3 main energy centers - in the head, the upper chest and lower abdomen. It can be done standing or sitting with your feet flat on the floor. Bring your hands to forehead height with palms facing your forehead. Your palms should be about a foot away from your head. Inhale and visualize sending energy (qi) in the form of white light into our head while bringing your hands toward your head but not touching it. Now exhale and bring your hands back to their original position while visualizing a bright light glowing inside your head. Repeat up to 6 times. Repeat this exercise with your hands in front of your upper chest and then again with your hands in front of abdomen just below your belly button. At the end you should feel both relaxed and energized. Its a wonderful beginners exercise for the beautiful and healthful practice of Qigong.
