Being likable

All of us need acceptance and want to be liked/loved for who we are. Stress, conflicts and animosity arises when we feel we are disliked or not appreciated.

It is rather easy to be liked by most people.. My recipe for likability has these ingredients..

Being polite / courteous

Being considerate of others

Doing what you want others to do for you

Showing appreciation for others and what they do

Doing what you can do without expecting others to do it for you

Going a step forward and doing what you can for others

Being honest in your dealing with others

Smiling often

Laughing at your own mistakes

Being non judgemental - using criticism only for aiding growth in others



These are what I think makes a person more likable/lovable. Please add on those qualities you think are necessary.
