Grew up in Michigan, transplanted to the West Coast. Original Motown is some of the best (Dancin' in the Streets) and even remakes can get your "groove on" (the original "Turn the Beat Around" Vicki Sue Robinson or Gloria Estefan's remake). Guess you can take the girl out of the town, but....
