Why I decided to transform
I started lifting one year ago after constantly being called "twig" and "skinny." It was very annoying and I hated being one of the thinnest guys at school. I finally snapped and decided to start lifting.
It was hard at first because I didn't see results and my friends at school didn't go to the gym, so there wasn't anyone around to tell me what to fix or which supplements to take. Then I found Bodybuilding.com, which taught me about supplements, workouts, and nutrition.
I steadily gained weight and started looking bigger and getting compliments on my size. When I saw my first noticeable size increase, I committed to stay the course and keep lifting to improve my physique.
I love being bigger because it helps me in many ways, especially to play basketball. Adding 60 pounds to my body in one season made a world of difference. I'm a much bigger threat now.

Post To Fitboard How I accomplished my goals
I got results because I trained hard nearly every day for a year after school. If I have homework or a project, it comes after training. I always looked at Bodybuilding.com for answers to grow, but I came to realize that I have to eat like a beast to see results from my hard work.
I lift every day for at least an hour and then play basketball for two hours. It's a big load, but it's worth it. Without my good friend, Fraser, I wouldn't be here. Fraser pushes me to go hard and got me started in the gym.
I love taking new photos and comparing them to my old ones for extra motivation to hit the weights harder. I couldn't have achieved what I did without Bodybuilding.com. The site gave me all the tools needed to accomplish my goals.

What aspect challenged me the most
The hardest hurdle to overcome was supplementation. I started training at age 15 and am new to bodybuilding, so I had to learn everything about proper supplementation, which was difficult at first.
Dieting was difficult too because I couldn't get proper nutrients without supplements. Not having a gym membership really challenged me also, so I work out at home without fancy machines. I would love to go to a real gym that will boost my motivation level and allow me to lift heavier weights.
"Don't let your mind go to negative places and never compare yourself to others who have worked for many years."
My future fitness plans
I want to add more lean mass, cut down, and compete in my first men's physique competition this year. I also want to help others as much as possible to transform. I want to bench press 250 pounds by the end of the year and stay 100 percent natural.
Suggestions for aspiring transformers
Don't let your mind go to negative places and never compare yourself to others who have worked for many years. Never give up and stay humble no matter what. I always see guys post photos of themselves on Facebook and shove it in the face of others. Don't be that guy.
How Bodybuilding.com helped me reach my goals
Without Bodybuilding.com, I wouldn't be where I am today. I fully believe that Bodybuilding.com is the reason for my gains because of the great advice and supplement selection. The site helped tremendously.
