Question: Is it possible for me to lose 10 pounds in 6 weeks? I'm 5'1" !?

It's possible to lose more than that in 6 weeks. Be prepared because you're going to have to be very strict and disciplined because you're already at a low weight. It's good that you can't do fruits, they contain too much sugar. You need to eliminate ALL sugars, natural or not, you need to say goodbye to them, this includes milk. You also need to eliminate all refined carbohydrates, these are the "white" carbs like bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, cereal etc. This alone will cause significant weight loss without exercise. If you want to temporarily cut out grains then even better! I lost 9 lbs in 2 weeks while doing Atkins induction and then lost 50 lbs in 12 weeks. I did this all without exercising due to a leg injury. Diet is 95% of weight loss, exercise only helps it along. Oh and I got rid of my acid reflux when starting Atkins, and it hasn't come back. Your diet is what's causing reflux the vast majority of the time. You need to do veggies, they have nothing to do with reflux. Just stick to non-starchy veggies, stay away from roots, potatoes, carrots and especially corn.
