I got my Braces off Monday the 29th of Sep. I had 2 days without a retainer after I got them off before I got my retainer. My orthodontist says I need to wear my retainers full time the first month but I am sort of questioning how many hours would qualify for full time? I work a grave shift job and so I get about 12 hours of sleep a day so if I were to just wear my retainer while I sleep and all the way up till I go to work, averaging in about 15 to 16 hours and then just wore it a little bit while I work my 8 hour work shift do you think it would be okay? I honesty just don’t want to have a bad lisp and look funny at work, I have a job where I have to do lots of talking. Any answers would help please!?
