Question: Can I lose 30 pounds in a year by doing this?

Those are good and healthy goals, but the amount lost depends on how many calories you consume and how many calories your body burns through just living or your walks. I've been able to use My Fitness Pal to track my calories and exercise, as it sets daily minimums and maximums for losing weight per week and has most foods cataloged. For example, if I want to lose 1lbs a week from 165lbs, I have to make sure I consume less than 1370 calories, but more than 1200 so that my body doesn't start storing everything. It also tracks your required nutrients and fat/protein/carbs.

I've lost 22lbs over 4 months by following the lowest weight loss goal, but you can go higher if you follow it well.

Edit: Just noticed your age, which is below what the accounts can be made for (18), but if you follow it roughly, it'll help. Keep in mind that you are growing. And the amount burnt depends on your gender, height and lifestyle, so don't use the numbers I've listed because they might not be accurate for everyone.
