Question: Is 2-4 hours at the gym after work/before bed bad?

Is 2-4 hours at the gym after work/before bed bad?

I'm 21 and working to join the ARMY. I love the gym but my body doesn't show it lol. Ok so I work everyday as a janitorial custodian (night shift) which requires manual labor all day long and I go to the gym after work ( get there around 1am) and I am there til 3 ish or 4 at the latest. Some times I get to the gym 12 am. I started this routine instead of going in the day because after work I'm usually up til 3-4 sleepless. So I burn that extra energy that keeps me up. I sleep 5-7 hours daily. After the gym I go home and sleep Around 5-6 am. Is this bad? I do notice my body give in to high calorie cravings lol. By the way, ALL my workouts are high intensity weight lifting and cardio because I don't believe anything else otherwise is a workout. Thanks
