Why do I look so so fat in photographs ?

So like I dont know why but Im never confident with what I look like. In some pictures , I look so horrible; like I look dark and fat. I like my appearance in the mirror but I absolutely hate myself in pictures. I workout daily and try to eat really healthy and everything but my mom takes a picture and I look really fat like seriously really fat and it lowers my self confidence considerably. People tell me Im not fat and I look fine in some pictures as well as selfies but in some particular ones ugh. Why is that ?
