I’ve suffered from oral herpes / cold sores for as long as I can remember. I used to get it 2-3 times a year when seasons change.
But through the past 3 months my breakouts has exploded. I now get breakouts weekly.
My doctor gave me pills for it, and they work by shortening the length of my breakouts but they don’t have any effect when it comes to preventing them.
I got a contraceptive coil a few months back, and it was around then my breakouts started to become a weekly thing. My body somehow repelled the coil though and it displaced itself and I had it taken out.
I was prescribed mini pills the day I had it taken out, so I had no break in between these two. I figured my body might had been under stress from the coil and that this was why I had had so many break outs. But they kept coming. I told my doctor about my concern. That the birth control I was using somehow was related to my break outs. She said that this was “highly unlikely” and that she had never heard of such a thing before. Neither have I, and I can’t find anything about it on the internet. I had blood samples taken – my immune system is ok and I don’t lack any vitamins.
I’m fascinated with listening to from others who skilled issues like this. Might this be associated to delivery keep an eye on? I do know from what I’ve learn that classes can provoke damage outs, and in view that I’ve been bleeding just a little, however very continuously from the coil and tablets I figured it usually is associated.
