My psychiatrist is not precisely glorious and even first rate.
She’s forgotten why my father used to be in jail thrice now (and the reason I’m in her office is from PTSD caused from sexual abuse from…my father.) She’s called me chubby (which might be true, but technically I’m at a healthy body weight for my height). She doesn’t really listen and we have a communication problem due to different accents.
Except I can only see someone else in the practice she works for (thanks crappy insurance, and Obama *sarcasm*). I don’t really like anyone else there and don’t want to keep switching doctors to find out who would be most compatible. I might be moving in six months, and if that’s the case, I can just see someone else from a different state. But should I stick with her anyway? I don’t feel comfortable but feel I’m kind of in a decent spot. I do not wish to awkwardly go her, however I am starting to dread appointments together with her.
Any recommendation? Thanks!
