Did I really eat all of my calories for the day??? I'm still so hungry!?
According to my BMR x 1.2 (I'm pretty sedentary), the calories I need to consume to maintain my weight is 1468 (I am a 5'5" and 103 pound female). So far today I ate HALF a belgium waffle with 2 tablespoons peanut butter and 1/8 cup syrup at my university's dining hall. My school displays the number of calories in everything they serve at the dining hall, so that was 430 calories. Then for lunch I had the little tiny portion of "meatball sub on italian bread" they were serving (386 calories). I didn't eat the top sliver of bread so I subtracted 50 calories (336 calories). I also had their "san francisco vegetable blend" (40 calories in 1/2 cup), and a little bit of trottole pasta (1/2 cup is 199 calories) with dijon and tarragon alfredo (1/4 cup is 337 calories?!?) and parmesan cheese (1 tablespoon is 57 calories). When I came home I had one tiny piece of nestle's pre-made cookie dough (80 calories). I've had a single cheez-it as a snack (6 calories) and a bite of my friends lemon bar just to taste it (20 calories?). So total, that's 1505 calories! I have no more calories left for dinner, and I am already hungry. That did not make me full. Do you think the dining hall calorie counts are accurate? Or maybe not consistent with the portions they give?
