Question: Drinking tea vs. drinking water in the morning?

Drinking tea vs. drinking water in the morning?



Since I've been a toddler, I've been drinking tea every morning (I blame my parents). Now I'm kind of getting tired of the habit. I've read that drinking water after you wake up has a lot of benefits; keeping the body hydrated, flushing out toxins etc. but I fear my body has become too accustomed to drinking tea in the morning that it may have an affect when I transition, something along the lines of having stomach pains for drinking water instead of tea or feeling uneasy. Idk. Do you think it's a good idea to switch out tea for water and should I go for it (for those who do)?
