How to balance my body?



Ok, i have been really foolish, following the adivce of my friend who is sort of a gym rat. I am a girl and wanted to come back to the gym, since i was into fitness for a while ,mostly aerobics and zumba stuff,but wanted to change my programme a bit. So I started lifting heavy, low rep for my upper body that will, as my friend said, create strenght not bulk and running for my lower body, hiit or jogging with some ocassional butt isolation exercise. Then i stopped and lost some weight in addition, but i gain muscle easily so now i look like an unexperienced bodybuilder type- skinny legs, wider shouders, traps and romboids and since i am starting to gain some fat it looks really horrible. I am really ashamed of myself. I can handle weight gain and loss but not this hunched gorilla look up. I feel like the manliest girl ever. And i am very skinny so it is even more noticablE. Any idea on how to lose it and even out? I became terrified of weights
