Question: Why do I have so much fat underneath my chin?

Im a reasonably skinny male around 5'10" and pushing 140lbs I am a slimmer build and yet I still manage to have a large amount of fat stored under my chin so I don't have as defined chin and jaw and always double chin no matter what
