Duchess of Cambridge Admitted to Hospital in Early Stages of Labor - NBCNews.com

LONDON — The royal baby is (finally) almost here!

Palace officials said <strong/>Saturday that the Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted into the Lindo Wing at London's St. Mary's Hospital to deliver her and Prince William's second child.

The baby — younger sibling to Prince George — will be fourth in line to the throne and bear the title of Prince or Princess of Cambridge.

Which title it will be remains to be seen: palace officials have insisted that William and Kate don't know the sex of the baby, who will be fourth in line to the throne.

William said in March that he couldn't wait for the baby's arrival, describing his first child as a "life changer" while the second would be "a game changer."

Prince Harry, though, has said that if the baby is a girl he would "love to see [William] try and cope with that."

William and Kate, 33, announced they were expecting their second child in September 2014. She suffered from acute morning sickness early in her pregnancy — just as she did while pregnant with George.
