This month, these red ants are just everywhere! You can't leave a food for a few minutes because they will be crawling all around it in an instant. What really annoys me so much is that they don't limit themselves to edible stuffs.
They even found their way on our bath towels. Mine and that of my husband. He got bitten by the red ants because he failed to notice due to the dark color of his towel. There were at least more than a dozen of these ants. His bites were mostly concentrated on his back.
And just this morning when I took a bath, I also got bitten. I also use a dark-colored towel and failed to notice the ants. I usually pat my face first so I immediately got bitten at the corner of my eyes. The next bites were on the left side of my neck. Some bit me on my tummy and back. There were also bites on my right upper arm.
I quickly rinsed myself because every inch of me felt so itchy. And the stinging bites sucked! These ants want a fight so I'll give them one.:mad:
I don't use chemicals to get rid of these bite-loving ants. No mess and no smell is what I'm looking for. So I use a simple scotch tape to catch and get rid of them for good. It works for me just fine.
