I just joined this new site called staydu | budget travel - stay with locals on a budget it seems a bit like couchsurfing if anyone has ever used that.
It gives you the chance to stay at local's houses as you travel for free. You can either exchange some time helping them with odd jobs around the house, just stay for free or pay to stay with them.
Since accommodation costs can be so expensive when you travel I thought this would really come in handy for everyone on here.
