In school I was never bullied. I had my share of bad experiences with peers, but I was never bullied or pressured into doing anything that I didn't want to do. I was always strong-willed in that way, knowing my worth and never really letting anybody treat me in a way that stated otherwise. If they did, I would just cut them out of my life, much like I do currently in life.
But we're venturing off of the point. As a child, my mother used to tell me that I was to destroy any child that put their hands on me, violently that is. She told me not to bother telling the teachers, or asking them for help, just beat seven shades out of the kid that had hit me. In fact, If there was ever a time that I didn't hit the person that had struck me back, then my mother said that she would beat me for not defending myself.
I didn't have to worry about that though, because I never let anybody hit me and get away with it. I perhaps sound pretty violent right now lmao! I can be, but overall I am not. Either way, I only had about three fight in all of my school career, and all of those people hit me first, and then that is when I went in for the kill.
I sometimes would question why my mother had told me not to seek help from teachers until I witnessed incidents myself, where the teacher would shush a child that was being bullied, or even shout at them for interrupting the class to grass on their bully or bullies. Then I fully understood why I wasn't to go to teachers for help. They just want an easy life.
Do you think that my mother was right to tell me to react this way to anybody that hit me?
Ps: If any of you say that my mother was wrong, I am going to hit you! She also told me to pummel anybody that slighted her parenting skills :P Lmfao!!!
