Every time I'm asked what my work is, I'm sometimes even reluctant to say that I'm in the field of education. Even though I'm an accountant I chose to teach in a University. And I have to admit, the pay is not that good. Isn't education not that important anymore which is why the salary of educators are not that competitive as compared to other professions?
