Unless you don't eat 100g of proteins in a day, whey will be useless for you. It's just a convenient processed fast-food. With your stats and assuming you lift, you should just eat more food... Way more food than you do actually you need a caloric surplus to gain weight so don't be afraid of high in calories food like pasta, pizza, nut butter, burgers, ice cream...
