Grass fed beef, buffalo, wild meat. You don't need HUGE pieces of it. It's expensive. You can fill in pretty well with eggs. Eggs are really good too - it's said that they are the perfect protein for humans. If you want to do the Atkins diet - which is meat and eggs and stuff - get a copy of Atkins "New Diet Revolution" off of Amazon. Lots of people have lost lots of weight on that.
It's meat, eggs, some cheese, good fats like blue cheese dressing. No sugar, very few carbs. So you can have a goodly amount of green vegetables - lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, a little onion, garlic, mushrooms. This stuff is Super nutritious - so it's good to have with the meat.
It's meat and green salads. But you can also cook up some meat and make it into a broth - salt and pepper. Then you throw in handfuls of chopped spinach, carrot, celery, cabbage - whatever - and just soften that a little. Throw in a small can on tomato sauce. And you have a great vegetable soup.
You can even put in a bunch of cut-up cauliflower which almost looks and feels like pasta.
