Mild hypothermia and cardio.

If i were to have mild hypothermia, would it be better to warm up with a bath first, or would using the cardio alone be sufficient to warm up? Sometimes in the mornings I have quite a low temperature, and when I do mild exercises like walking, I can feel the muscle tension. By the time I am home everything is fine, but would I be better off warming up pre walking?
