Question: How to lose weight healthily?

I'm (almost) 23 years old,. I weigh 159 lbs and I am 5'7 tall. I would like to lose weight, 20 pounds. I've tried to read and do research and all I find is "exercise more and eat less calories". Problem with that is, without intention, I don't eat enough calories, in a day if I eat 1100 calories, that's a lot. I'm a VERY sedentary person, so I guess my calorie intake need isn't much, because I never notice feeling weak or ill. Mind you, these 1100 calories are NOT healthy. Eggs and cheese. Rice. Soup. Pasta. Meat. Meat. Meat. Candy. CANDY. Candy. Water.

Now, most I've found is "if you are already eating little calories, just exercise!" but then whenever I do, I end up vomiting or feeling ridiculously dizzy. So then there's the "well, eat MORE (healthily) AND exercise!" BUT I have tried that, and I feel like I'm stuffing my face, I eat when I'm not hungry to increase my intake and I just end up STILL feeling sick when I exercise, but this time because I feel like my stomach's too bloated :\

And I've been to my family doctor, who whenever I start the topic just stars with the "You don't need to lose weight! You look fine! These days women are so obsessed with being bones!" -.-; And I can't afford a nutritionist. Or gym. I work out at home from youtube videos (can't afford equipment either!). Just FYI. I also... can't leave my home to exercise. No sitters or friend to watch kiddo.

I've googled, and read, and googled, and read and I just can't seem to find info to help me!
