If You And Your Friend Happen To Like The Same Person, Will You Be Honest About It Or You Will Keep It To Yourself?

I know this is a common situation, so I would like to know what you will do if you and your friend happen to like the same person. Will you tell how you feel to your friend and tell him or her, "So, now that you know that we have the same crush.. May the best man/woman win!" Or you will keep it to yourself? Will you compete with your friend and pursue your crush either openly or secretly or will you just give way to your friend? It's a risky situation though, because the friendship might be broken. I've seen that happen many times already. The damage is irreparable. So how about you, what will you do and why?
