Obama: Supreme Court 'shouldn't have taken up' health care case - Chicago Tribune

Speaking to reporters Monday at the conclusion of the G-7 summit in Germany, President Barack Obama’s frustration with the Supreme Court was apparent as it prepares to rule the King v. Burwell case in that could undermine his signature legislation. “This should be an easy case,” Obama said. “Frankly, it probably shouldn’t even have been taken up.” He said if the court ruled against his administration, millions would lose subsidies they need to afford health insurance, disrupting the insurance markets in their states.
