For the first time, St. Marys didnt just deny the report but refuted the figures used in stories last week broadcast by CNN that contend the programs mortality rate for such specialized programs dwarfs the national average. The hospital said it told the CNN reporter her data was incorrect but the cable news network still broadcast the story last Monday.
