Question: Consuming 2000 calories a day?

Consuming 2000 calories a day?

Hey yall! I've just got a quick question. I weigh 153. I started at roughly 200 and am 5'5. At the beginning of my weight loss journey, which was in July of 2014, I had mainly focused on cardio because I hadn't known better about weight training. However, in October, I got serious about wanting to sculpt my body into something I loved. I began to lift, and lift heavy for somebody my size. Now in January, I couldn't be happier with the muscle mass I've put on.. But I'm having a hard time listening to my body telling me I'm hungry because I don't want to put on fat. I was used to eating around 1300 calories when I had done cardio, and these past few months I haven't seen the scale budge and I eat around 2000. I workout 7 days a week with 3 of them having cardio mixed into my strength training. I do still have quite a bit of fat to shed, which is why I'm curious on if this is okay to be eating such a large amount of food? I eat when I'm hungry, I get healthy foods.. I just don't see the scale budge in fact I do think I've gained. Any insight? Thank you!!
