Newly Vegan, is this a healthy diet for weight loss?

Hey,

I've recently became vegan and I would like to know if people felt that this was a good meal plan. My main reason for becoming a vegan is for health reasons, not ethical. After more then a decade of abusing my body(bulimia, laxatives, etc), it can no longer process meats. This is something my doctor told me himself. So, ya, on with the breakdown...

Breakfast: oatmeal(made with water) with apple and cinnamon. Coffee with soy milk

Lunch: Kale salad with baked tofu and pecans

Dinner: some sort of hearty soup. Lentil soup, vegetable chili, pea soup, etc.

So....... Whatcha think?
