I am currently trying to lose some body fat . Especially belly fat! I speed walk on the treadmill every morning for 1 hour and go to the gym in the evening to lift weights to gain some muscle. (6 times a week treadmill and 4 times a week weight lifting) I've been doing this for 4 weeks now. I use protein shake after both treadmill and the gym too. My question is ; should I take protein shake before or after the treadmill? I don't want to lose muscle, i want to lose body fat! If i take protein shake after treadmill will i lose muscle during treadmill? Should I take it before treadmill so that I can preserve muscle? I don't want to take it before and after treadmill since i already take some protein after my workout at the gym in the evening. Thanks everyone from now for your help.
