Stomach pains and losing weight?

On Christmas I had really bad stomach pains so I went to the er where they gave me an iv of morphine and diagnosed me with chronic gastritis and sent me a pain med home (percocet). I have less stomach pain, but I have really little appetite. During Christmas I was 115, now it's 12/28 and I weigh 112 now. I lost 3 pounds, and I eat really little bc of no hunger. The first day back I ate instant oatmeal and threw the rest out and 1 boiled egg. Yesterday I ate 1 piece of toast, 1 egg+1 bread (egg's nest) and 1 banana. Today I ate a grilled chicken caesar salad from the citarella but I can't eat anymore bc I am on the verge of vomiting. I guess the real question is should I go to a side doctor even though I am going to a specialist in all the stomach stuff on Jan. 13? Should I stick it out, am I ok? IDK
