Please help – extreme burning
I’m 26 weeks pregnant. Last night I woke up with my thumb and first 2 fingers burning. Burning so bad they continued to wake me up all night. I found they were better if I put them under cold water. The burning is insane though. Like the worst sunburn I’ve ever had, or icy hot times 100. I called my OB this morning and she recommended Tylenol and to come in Wednesday of it wasn’t better. I’m desperate though. Most of the day I felt ok but then I gave the kids a bath and it started burning like crazy again. Then I got into the shower myself and the hot water makes the burning tons worse!!! Now since my shower it’s been sitting here, feeling like its on fire. Could this possibly be carpal tunnel? The pain is insane. I can’t live with this another night!!! I need to sleep. I can’t find anything about sensitivity to hot water regarding carpal tunnel. It’s freaking me out a little. I would totally think this was a chemical burn if my skin had blisters or something!! Any similar stories or other ideas can be welcome.&#thirteen;
