Question: How do you start a diet and what is a good diet for a teenage girl?

You just start a diet by restricting yourself of bad foods that you eat but do not need. Everyone can have sugars now and then etc. but its when you start eating over the amount that you need. You need to find the balance of eating enough and of the right stuff. For example, make sure you get the right amount of each food group. If you are someone who snacks a lot, drink instead (just don't try to skip hunger by drinking fluids, your body still needs the right amount of food in it) but drinking a lot will help you know when you are actually hungry also.



For a teenage girl I would say just keep it simple. Eat 3 healthy meals a day, and a snack or 2 isn't bad as long as it''s not all chocolate, crisps etc. Try yoghurts, fruit, cereal bars.
