low-carb high-fat ketogenic diet. i lost 35 lbs. and body fat, and went down two clothing sizes, in two months while on it. you are literally burning fat 24/7 while on the diet, even without exercise. the human body normally uses glycogen (made from carbs) for energy, but when you cut out the carbs and increase the dietary fat, the body starts using fat as its main fuel. that means when you're not eating, after the fat from the diet has been used up, body fat is burned for energy. i feel great on it
