My meals philosophy:
Meals is both poison or drugs. In case you devour to extra you’ll get fats do do not devour as a lot as imaginable and if you must, devour correctly.
I handiest consume entire meals, recent vegetables and fruit, natural and grass fed meats, wholesome fat (most effective when my physique desires it) and low calorie drinks akin to tea, water, coffee and kombucha. (I make my own kombucha tea. Maybe one day I will make a blog post about how to do it.)
I avoid GMO’s and highly processed foods like the plague and I believe in making most everything I put in to my body from scratch. Cooking has always been a passion of mine. I love food and I suppose I’ve always been a bit obsessed with it, but I’m also terrified of being overweight.
I’m not perfect. I do have the odd cheat day. But it’s usually on the weekend and I rectify that with restricting during the week. I rarely “starve” myself, but rather do intermittent fasting. I eat breakfast lunch and dinner most days but my meals are very small and mostly vegetable based.
A usual day:
Breakfast- A cup of black coffee (sometimes with a teaspoon of coconut oil) 1 rice cake with a tablespoon of almond butter, or 1/3 cup of oatmeal with cinnamon and banana, or a almond milk/fruit smoothie.
Lunch- Usually just lettuce with a piece of protein or left overs from dinner. I also have a special bowl that I eat from at work every day. It’s black and small (fits about 1-2 cups of food) so I figure it keeps my portions in control.
Dinner- Again very vegetable/salad based with a small peice of protein.
Snack- Kombucha, green tea, coffee, coconut energy balls (a really good recipe I found! They’re kind of like Lara bars. They are about 200 calories each though so I only have one if I feel faint or like I’m craving healthy fats.) Mostly I just have liquids between meals.
I LOVE Yoga! I do 30 minutes of yoga every morning because it keeps me flexible and I feel more in touch with my body. If you don’t already do yoga you should start! It completely refreshes and mentally prepares me for the day.
I also love walking! My hubby and I have a little dog so I can use her as an excuse to go for a walk almost any time (especially if I am forced to eat something particularly calorific…) which keeps me in shape as well.
That’s pretty much me in a nutshell.
My number one reason for shedding weight presently is my wedding ceremony which is a yr away, in Mexico!!… This weblog will assist to maintain me targeted and inspired and if any individual wish to share pointers or recommendation I would like that.
