West African Citizens Need Visa To Enter Singapore - Bernama

SINGAPORE, Nov 4 (Bernama) -- Citizens of west African countries of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone will require a visa to enter Singapore beginning Nov 5.The move allows better monitoring of the entry of nationals from these countries and facilitates possible contact tracing, said a press release issued by the Ministry of Health (MOH).

During the visa application process, travellers from three countries will be informed of Singapore's Ebola health advisory and actions to take if they develop symptoms while en route to or during their stay in the country.

The visa requirement complements other measures put in place earlier.
