Forum Speed Updates

So I have been doing a few tweaks to the forum as of late (actually, a whole heap of updates)...and my prime focus has been to speed up the site and focus on user experience.

Of course I want the latest plugins and features for the site, but at the end of the day, I want the browsing speed to be a primary focus because add-ons and plugins are used less frequently at the end of the day in comparison to fast experience.

With that said, I have added memcached server for quicker page loading, removed an auto link plugin for initial time to first byte, added a content distribution network, increased time of cache, and about 30 other tweaks to speed up the site. I have noticed a dramatic improvement as of today since all tweaks have been completed.

How has everyone else's experience been today (and tomorrow and thus far) since the finalization of the upgrades / tweaks? I hope everything is moving much faster now for everyone. Please let me know your positive and negative feedback...thank you!
