Question: Increasing weight?

I am 5'5" and only 52kilos,, too lean.

How can I increase my weight? I am planning to go to gym and take proteins (supplements) apart from regular diet.

My diet is not too much, but I do not like to eat meals. I like ice creams, chocolates, pastries and cakes. But if I go to gym and work out for 2-3 months and get some bulk, will it stay permanently or I will have to be regular at the gym? What I want to ask is does stop going to the gym / reducing the frequency take the bulk and weight away?



FYI - I have been going on and off to the gym, and have good muscle shape, but no bulk. I hate gym as it is boring, but if it is a way out to improve my physique, I would have to
