You become flabby and untoned from losing muscle mass. I don't know why people think starvation is an appropriate way to lose weight. Starvation might result in you losing 5lbs a week, but out of that 5 lbs, at least 3lbs was muscle and water. While people who follow a proper diet and exercise regimen lose maximum 2 lbs a week of PURE fat. When you starve you're not losing that much more fat, you're losing more MUSCLE
