My mother works in care. She has always worked in care, and she goes to houses owned by the elderly, who cannot dress or feed, or wash themselves. Sometimes she runs into the family members of these elderly people. Most do not have much family. But some of them have one son or one daughter, who will chip in to help bathe and feed their incapable parent.
My mother often comes home talking about how there is this one elderly lay who cannot speak or do anything for herself, and her 30+ son takes care of her when the carers are not there. When my mother offers to bathe this woman, the son always quickly bathes her before my other can. My mother says that this man seems a bit strange, and that she finds it rather odd that he enjoys bathing his mother so much, which I can agree upon. I do feel like it is a little strange - the way he acts.
Anywho, do you think that it is right for him to be bathing his mother and getting so much enjoyment from it? Something could be going on for all we know :/
