Hi all! For those of you out there that are looking to live a healthier lifestyle, I looked up some foods that can actually help you cut fat! Of course they arn't miracle-foods that will suddenly make you skinny, but they are definitely good to incorporate into your routine!
Beans: They are filling and actually help you stay full longer because your body digests them slower than other foods. Plus they are packed with protein!
Soup: A small cup of broth-based soup before your meal may very well help you eat less.
Chocolate: Gotta cheat a little? Have a square or two of dark chocolate. It has more health benefits than milk chocolate and you'll be less likely to crave sweets later.
Pureed Vegetables: Add pureed veggies to things like pastas. You get to cheat a little but then again if it's packed with pureed veggies it's much healthier and you can cut calories by filling up more on veggies and less on noodles.
Egg And Sausage Breakfast: Having a protein packed breakfast can keep you fuller longer throughout the day. Easier to resist those breakfast doughnuts someone brought in to work.
Nuts: These are my go-to snack food. There a tons of different kinds and if they have a little salt on them it almost feels like you are crunching on potato chips, except much better for you! They are also pretty filling!
Apples: No juice diet for you. Apples have more fiber so they curb your appetite longer. Plus, the chewing action tells your brain your actually eating something substantial rather than just juice.
Grapefruit!: Yes it actually helps! Eat a half of grapefruit before your meals and you are more likely to shed pounds. Grapefruit juice has similar results!
