Superstitions before taking the board examination

The CPA board examinations would end this weekend here at our place. It's a very hard exam wherein only about 30% of the examinees pass. Because of the high mortality rate, a number of examinees turn to superstitious beliefs which they hope would heighten their chances of passing. Some of these beliefs include:

  • Wearing of red clothing

  • Not shaving (beard/mustache)

  • Not cutting the nails

  • Not having a hair cut

  • Putting a coin in the pocket

What other superstitious beliefs do you know of?
