High Protein Snack Bites, 35g

Protein snacks are food supplements designed to provide the needed proteins of the body that we do not normally get from the food that we eat every day. The reason for this is that, people have fast paced lives where everything needs to be done quickly – including eating. With the popularity that food supplements are getting these days, these protein supplement reviews will definitely be helpful in understanding how one product is different from the other.

It is because these days, there are so many brands circulating in the market. This situation makes it difficult to find the right one that suits our needs. Looking for the right product can be very tiring and confusing because all of the products seem to be claiming the same things.

High Protein Snack Bites, 35 g

(Protein Thru Innovation)

Taste:

I chose sour cream and onion because I’m a long time fan of sour cream, countless bags of regular bags with chips have been consumed throughout the years.

This is my first time tasting any sort of protein chips and I had my expectations at Sour Cream and Onion Pringles. Lets just say “that’s not the case” here..

When first biting in to the Bites you are met by a pleasant crunch but you are quickly slapped in the face by aftertaste that can be compared to cardboard.

The cardboard flavor overwhelms the sour cream and onion, there’s barley any trace of any sour cream.

They quickly melts in the mouth and doesn’t need to be chewed more than once or twice and leaves and aftertaste of what I imagine chemicals would taste like.

Content:

The product contains soy protein isolate and wheat gluten which makes the supplement not suitable for soy and/or lactose intolerant people.

Calories 140kcal

Protein 20,1g

Carbs 9g

from sugar 0,7g

Fat 2,8g

Pricing:

1.8 USD per bag

Overall:

The snacks has high protein content for the low amount of calories, the same calorie to protein ratio as canned tuna.

Sadly the horrid taste of cardboard gives the chips a repulsive effect and makes you not want them.

You might want to try them for yourself and see, some of my friends that tried them said that they probably goes great with a cold beverage.

I would not buy these again.

I tried the snack as a snack between meals and they kept me full for about 1 hour.
