Some people hit puberty early and some others hit is later. Since you are still young it is hard to tell how much you should/can lift since puberty does have quite a bit to do with your ability to gain muscle mass. For right now I would do exercises which you move your body against gravity to build muscle mass. Exercises like push-ups. sit-ups. jumping, sprinting, lunges, ect. Lifting weights right now is okay, but I wouldn't go any higher than 20lbs unless you've seen a pediatric athletic counselor. Once you are 15 I would start on lifting heavier weights. The reason you do not want to push yourself with the heavier weights now is if your body is not developed enough to build muscle mass at an adequate rate you could be doing more damage thus losing mass instead of gaining mass.
