Section 1 Dialogue • Re: Lunchbox to head

Welcome again!

Listed here are some prospects I will be able to bring to mind off the highest of my head:

thermos of vegetable soup, bean or pea soup, or chili

roll-ups (lettuce leaf with sliced meat and/or cheese, rolled up)

marinated greens or chilled grilled greens

chilled cooked meats (rooster breast, ham, etc.)

raw veggies in a plastic bag or container (you can include a dip like hummus or salad dressing)

carton of plain yogurt with the flavoring and sweetener of your choice either already stirred in, or ready to add and stir in

cold beans (spiced, with a SBD-friendly BBQ sauce, or plain – however you like them)

lowfat cheese sticks

A thermal lunch bag works well, even in a car. You can keep it cold with a reusable ice pack, or just a plastic bag of ice. You can pack food in either plastic reusable containers or plastic bags. Remember utensils and napkins. Raw veggies like celery, pepper strips, jicama, etc. usually travel well if you keep them chilled. If you can’t keep them chilled the entire time, whole produce like cherry tomatoes, raw sugar snap peas, or child peppers regularly maintain contemporary longer. You’ll want to raise some drinks, too, each to maintain you smartly-hydrated and so as to add selection.
