I think I have mentioned this before on here, but I am someone who really enjoys her own company. In fact I prefer to be alone a lot of the time - refusing friends when they ask me to come out with them, whether it is dancing, going to a concert or just going out for food. Some of my friends get frustrated with this trait of mine.
But it really isn't my fault that other people don't like spending time with themselves as much as I enjoy spending time with myself. LOL! I can always find so many things to do when it is just me, and get your mind out of the gutter. Not THAT! Hahaha. I mean other things. I will create music, write, read, meditate, think, draw, paint. In actuality. I don't NEED other people like some other people do. I am perfectly content to spend the day by myself. A lot of the time I prefer to.
Of course I really enjoy my time with others too, but some people just cannot spend time alone. I have this one friend and his house is ALWAYS filled with friends. If I am not there I KNOW there are at least five of our friends hanging out at his house. he says that he hates being by himself and that he gets bored.
So my question is: do you like your own company?
