there is no way to target fat loss. belly fat is primarily visceral fat. That's the type of fat that sloshes around the organs. The way to reduce that is with cardio. your body will remove fat around the abdomen as it sees fit, theres no way to target any area for fat loss. many people have to get to low body fat/ ideal BMI range before they have a flat stomach. Body type that is overweight or fluffy but still has flat stomach is very rare. if you have something like a ridge or muffing top, core exercises will tone and firm the area (not shrink it) and reduce the appearance of the ridge or muffin top.
Loose fat is calories in - calories out. cut out wheat and see if your middle starts to shrink... it will be good for keeping your insulin levels low too. wheat spikes blood sugar worse than sugar itself. Insulin is the hormone responsible for fat storage and resistance to weight loss. some people are bloated in the middle because of an intolerance to food they eat, its from intestinal swelling. if you eat anything like wheat or sugar before bed, you wont loose any weight. ITs because most fat loss happens while you're sleeping and if you go to bed with your blood sugar and insulin spiked you wont loose any fat.
