Hello everyone! As the title of this post says, I'm going to start a low carb diet soon (maybe next week). I haven't checked with a nutrition specialist yet, but I will soon (I need to get an appointment). Meanwhile I'd love to learn more about cutting carbs and sugar... I really need some tips, but I'd also like to get some questions answered: Is it ok to use Stevia from time to time? where can I find more info on low carb foods and recipes online?
I hope someone can help me out, I'm not going to be seeig a nutrition specialist for at least other two weeks, but I really need to start getting familiar with a low carb diet. I'm not doing this to lose weight, but it'd be nice if I lose some! The main reason I'm doing this is because I want to control the sugar levels in my blood and hopely get rid of my insuline resistance (I was on a medication for that, but I stopped using it because was causing my hair to fall out!!!).
If you have any tips or a piece of advice, please don't hesitate to reply to this thread.
